After 3 rainouts, the Brashear baseball team finally took the field Monday at Marceline. Brashear used the long ball in the early going as Jack Reeves homered in the 1st and 3rd innings to give Brashear a 5-0 lead. Marceline got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the 3rd to close the gap to 5-2, but Brashear used some small ball in the 5th to maintain their lead and claim an 11-6 win. Carson Erwin got the start with Jack Reeves, Cole Erwin, and Avery Zentz pitching in relief.
